It has been our pleasure to work with representatives of the Marriott Hotel group in creating unique designs that meet special needs. The Marriott Fairfield Inn and Suites, a four-story hotel facility designed for a New Jersey location, posed a certain challenge. With metal framing too expensive for the project’s budget, an all wood framed design that would meet local codes and maintain the Marriott prototype was created. A second Marriott facility, the Marriott Springhill Suites in Harrisburg, PA is also designed with all wood framing, and presented the additional challenge of tailoring the hotel’s prototype exterior design to better blend in with the existing office park environment in which it is located. We’re proud of the results.
